JEE Main 2027 admit card

The admit card is released on the NTA website 3 to 4 days before your exam date and is downloaded with your application number and date of birth. No physical copy is posted.

NTA has not announced admit card release dates for JEE Main 2027 yet. It is published with the Information Bulletin, expected around October–November 2026. Everything below is the confirmed 2026 position plus the pattern NTA has followed — useful for planning, but not a substitute for the official notification. We will update this page the day it lands.

Two different documents, released at different times

The city intimation slip arrives first — around the first week of January for Session 1, the second week of March for Session 2. It names your allotted city only, so you can plan travel and accommodation. It is not an entry document.

The admit card follows 3–4 days before the exam, with the exact centre address, your shift, and the reporting time. This is what gets you in.

Check these the moment you download it

  • Your name, date of birth, category and paper, against your application
  • The photograph and signature are yours and are legible
  • The centre address in full — and how long it actually takes to get there
  • Your shift and reporting time, which is well before the exam start

Any discrepancy goes to NTA immediately through the helpline or email on the admit card. Do not attempt to correct it yourself.

What to carry

Take

  • Printed admit card, self-declaration filled in
  • Original valid photo ID
  • One passport photo matching your application
  • PwD certificate, if claiming that provision
  • Transparent water bottle and pen

Leave behind

  • Phone, smartwatch, any electronic device
  • Calculator, log tables, any printed material
  • Bags, wallets, jewellery
  • Anything you would mind losing — storage is not guaranteed

Rough sheets are provided at the centre and must be handed back. Being found with a prohibited item is treated as unfair means, and NTA withheld results on those grounds in 2026.
