Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 July 2026

JEEPrep is built to collect as little personal data as possible. Most of the platform — exam information, syllabus, and previous year questions — works without any account at all. This policy explains what we do collect and why.

What we collect

  • Practice session data. When you start a mock test, we set a random identifier cookie in your browser so your attempt can be saved and resumed. It contains no personal information and is not used to track you across other websites.
  • Attempt data. Your answers, per-question timing, and scores are stored against that identifier so we can show you scorecards and (in future) progress analytics.
  • Technical logs. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept briefly for security and debugging.

What we do NOT do

  • We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
  • We do not run advertising or third-party ad trackers.
  • We do not require your phone number, date of birth, or address.
  • We do not send marketing communication.

Students under 18

Most of our users are school students. We deliberately minimise data collection with that in mind, consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP). We do not use children's data for tracking, behavioural profiling, or targeted advertising.

Cookies

We use only functional cookies: the practice-session identifier described above. No analytics or advertising cookies are set.

Data retention and deletion

Practice data is retained so your history and analytics keep working. To have your data deleted, email contact@jeeprep.app from the browser session in question (or describe your attempts), and we will remove the associated records.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
